Was browsing photos of USAF Pararescue and stumbled on this photo from Wikipedia showing them on a mountaintop somewhere in Afghanistan. The photo is dated 2008.
What I found interesting was the 3-colour camo they're wearing...the uniform looks to be cut very similarly to British S-95 kit, as evidenced by the pocket types and button placement on the smock. The pattern orientation seems slightly different than traditional US 3-colour desert, however.
Does anyone know if such a uniform was ever produced in quantity and used on a wide scale? My first thought was commercially produced kit made by Arktis Gear in the UK, but I'm not 100% sure.
Any thoughts or opinions? In all honesty I'm just curious to know.
