That answers a big question for me. I have been finding those individual mag pouches outside of JBLM and I couldn't figure out who was using them. I didn't think it was Army but I didn't even think of SP's from the AF.
I have a bunch of newer AF SP stuff that is digital and it still looks the same style.
Any idea why the female is wearing a black vest vs the issue vest?

It seems that the Security Forces may use whatever is in their inventory.

Also. They're deployed. A buddy of mine, had a vest like the one she was wearing, he wore in Afghanistan.

Not the monetary or collection value, just trying to get some idea of the comparability in terms of battle effectiveness, materials, wear - that sort of thing.
In my day (early 1960s) some of our stuff was surplus Army gear and clothing - though I was not an Ape, I do have recurring memories of hand-me-downs and just wonder how things are going today for Air Force equippage as compared with other branches.
