Unusual Cammo Pattern Uniform

I got this from a Special Forces buddy.  However, he's not certain where this was used.

For some reason this uniform really drew me to it - I really like the soft cammo pattern on this.

The top is of light rip-stop type material.  The only tag is the one in the collar giving the size. The shoulder epaulets would - to me at least - seem to indicate a uniform worn by non-U.S. force.


The trousers, however, are of heavier material, and it marked as being made by Propper.  Though the material is heavier, it still matches the top, and so I went and got it as well.  


I'd appreciate ID on who would wear this uniform pattern.

The trousers:

I'm pretty sure that is the A-TACS FG pattern. It was marketed around the same time as Kryptek, and had a limited following in the civilian market.

To my knowledge, it was never an issued clothing item to the DoD, however some people have reportedly worn them in the wild (probably in an unofficial capacity). Some other nations (Poland?) have worn it in an operational capacity.

Morning Gents. Great top Bryan and great info Static. I can see why you were drawn to it. Really good looking uniform. Personally I've always liked camouflage that has that "washed out" look either through use or design. It just seems more natural.

Very nice camouflage uniform. The Iraqi army is seen wearing this from time to time.
