An interesting patch from Afghanistan. Central design is a flaming skull which has a "Superman style" diamond shield with the letter K instead of a S. The script at the top translates to Ghazni, Afghanistan. The bottom is Kryptonite. Not sure of the meaning on this one. Located information on an Operation Kryptonite during 2007 which involved ANA, United Kingdom, and Netherlands allied coalition forces. Only problem with that theory is that the operation was in Helmand Province which is a long way from Ghazni. So, at this point not sure of the meaning or purpose. The patch shows signs of use/wear and is mounted on black velcro. If anyone has thoughts or information on the patch please post them here.
