    Nice diverse pieces.

Love the stenciling on the Seabees blouse, super scarce patched USCG blouse,

and that remarkable fully patched US Army piece is just outstanding.

Thanks for posting, don't stop now...

Do you know the provenance of this one ? I think I've seen this one on ebay - is that possible ? it looks very doubtful indeed and I'm pretty sure the SF patch has been added on it...I'm affraid I've a very bad feeling for this one...

    Hi P-E.

It was from eBay - from Treesuit, who I believe is a member here. A similar item was bought by Aussiedigger and can be seen in this thread here:

    https://oefoif.forumotion.net/t6260p90-aussie-digger-s-dcu-bdu-collection

In the eBay auction I did not notice the off centre USSF insignia. And there are a number of differences between Aussie's and mine. Mine doesn't have a US Flag, Aussie's USSF patch is centre aligned.

I've had a good look and the stitching on the USSF patch is different than the other patches and isn't as embedded on the fabric - although I suppose that may be due to it being added at a later date.

So you could be correct on it P-E

    Right,

time for a bit of an update to this thread. Over recent months I have acquired a number of woodland BDU's linked to the OEF/OIF period.

First up is a BDU belonging to Major General Atkinson. A Vietnam 9th Infantry Division veteran and Major General of (Reserve Component) First US Army during 2001.

GUARD ARMOR BATTALION HAS NEW LEADER

    Thursday, September 22, 1988
Lumberton native Lt. Col. John C. Atkinson of the North Carolina Army National Guard has been named commander of the 2nd Battalion, 252nd Armor, headquartered in Raeford.

He assumed command of the battalion in early August, but the change-of-command ceremony was held on Sept. 11, according to battalion officials.
Atkinson is chairman of the business curriculum at Robeson Community College. He currently resides in Lumberton.
A former enlisted soldier, Atkinson received his commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at The Citadel in June 1968. He later earned a master's degree in business administration from East Carolina University.
A Vietnam veteran, Atkinson served on active duty with the 2nd Armored Division at Fort Hood, Texas; the 9th Infantry Division in Vietnam; the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg; and as the XVIIIth Airborne Corps' plans and operations officer at Fort Bragg.
Most of his National Guard time has been spent with the 2/252 Armor, although he also served as a staff officer with the 30th Infantry Brigade headquartered in Clinton and the 1st Battalion, 252nd Armor in Fayetteville.
The 2/252 is a "roundout" armor unit that would be deployed with the 2nd Armored Division in the event of war.
Atkinson replaces Lt. Col. Sidney J. Linker, who went to the State Area Command in Raleigh.

2nd CIB award BDU - 2nd Infantry Division
    SSG William C Croka

I believe this BDU belonged to SSG Willam C Croka. He served with the 1st ID during Desert Storm and the 2nd ID in OIF. Through some open source research I located a Twitter account belonging to him which also has pictures of him in 1995 with a CIB before a UN Macedonia deployment.

    OCP Shirt - medical

A strange OCP shirt. This was bought from a London Vintage shop. They do not add patches to their items. Some of the patches are theatre made. I'm just not convinced the USAF ranks belong on here. They aren't as used as the other patches and were stuck on the zip area of the velcro.

    Goodwin looks great, nice top.

I have a duplicate of the Kleinfelter DoD top as well. First contractor uniform I have seen with USAF colors.

The USAF multicam stuff is hard to find as well. I pick up the patches when I can find them but just not a lot around.

Thanks for updating the thread and great collection!

I have a duplicate of the Kleinfelter DoD top as well.  First contractor uniform I have seen with USAF colors.

The USAF multicam stuff is hard to find as well.  I pick up the patches when I can find them but just not a lot around.

Thanks for updating the thread and great collection!

Cheers Zeked. I'm not convinced the OCP is a USAF one, think the patch may have just got stuck onto the velcro.

These two are put togethers, but only on the basis that the patches are velcro. However all records I have attached to them state this and I would never pass them off as anything other than that. Again these have been seen before on here, just displayed slightly better here.

Early Patter UCP Shirt - this has the early colour tan zip, and the slightly different shaped collar. The US Army and Name tape were picked up off this forum and are the early UCP/ACU style ones.

A strange OCP shirt. This was bought from a London Vintage shop. They do not add patches to their items. Some of the patches are theatre made. I'm just not convinced the USAF ranks belong on here. They aren't as used as the other patches and were stuck on the zip area of the velcro.

I think your rank is just fine because the rest of the insignia are all done in spice brown as well. Just have to find yourself a USAF in multicam to finish it Wink. Seeing as he has a medical command patch as his 'combat' patch, my bet is he was assigned to a hospital somewhere in Afghanistan. You actually might have enough info by the rank/name to google them. Nice top Very Happy
