My Collection
In an effort to improve the quality of my collection I will be photographing everything I have, anything worth sharing on forums I will keep, the rest I will post on ebay. So here is the best of my collection, except for the thing outside the scope of this forum.

Re: My Collection
These are most of my six color desert helmet covers for the PASGT helmet. Not included are the ones on helmets. Sorry for the poor photographs, but otherwise I would of had to photograph all 30+ of them by themselves.

Re: My Collection
You've built a really great collection Cap. Not bad for as you say not having your license yet. Can't imagine what you'll dig up when you start driving. Glad we're not fishing the same hole!

Re: My Collection
We all do seem to get drawn into our particular niches of collecting without even realizing it at first.

Re: My Collection
You're right about that Bagman. When most helmet covers are $1-2 its hard to say no.
3 m16/m4 30 round mags, a green follower with JER painted in red on the bottom, green follower with OD duct tape to make it easier to grip, black follower with black duct tape and a paracord loop to make it easier to get out of a pouch,
Cristal water bottle label from Afghanistan, found in a pair of super beat OCP/Multicam Pants. Afghan money brought to the use by a soldier in charge of paying the ANA. Oasis water bottle label from the UAE, found in a pair of beat up UCP pants. Iraqi money captured by an Arizona National Guard MP unit from a Iraq Special forces training base. Iraqi Money with no story.

Re: My Collection
British MK6 Helmet Cover, marked "Homer" on the front, has "H" marked on both ear sections, and eyes drawn on the front
My first EGA marked 6 color helmet cover, which I find kind of odd seeing as I went trhough hundreds of them and didn't find a single one.
There is unreadable writing on the top, and it says "The flight from Somalia 12-93" and "Africa is hot" on the back, I'm guessing it was used in Operation Continue Hope
This one is marked with "A-Pos" and "E-7913"
I regret missing all those nice 6 color helmet covers on ebay.

Re: My Collection
Here's a 3rd Infatry Division woodland/desert cover, it has the name "Heath", velcro for glint tape on the woodland side, and glint tape sewn on the desert side. Interestingly the SSI are only on the woodland side, not the desert.
Tan spray painted skullcrusher NOD mount, the loose straps are taped up with duck tape.

Re: My Collection
Glad to add about 30 more 6 color helmet covers to my collection, they all have $10 price stickers on them but the guy I bought them from had them priced at 20 for $10 and they weren't selling so he was willing to cut me a deal, half were nice and interesting and half were hardly used so I'll be selling those.
From left to right top to bottom:
PFC Patch sewn on and 2 glow in the dark cat eye triangles sewn on the back.
Crude SGT stripes drawn on with pin holes through them.
2 sets of pin holes at different heights and duct tape residue on the top, the loops that attach the cover to the helmet are a strange light blue color, I've encountered several covers not to specifications, probably the covers were in demand so manufactures cut corners to crank them out as fast as possible.
Pin holes and evidence rank was sewn on, squares drawn in pen with bits of string where glint tape was attached.
SPC patch.
SPC patch.
Evidence a rank was sewn on.
SGT patch.
SPC patch.
Super salty cover with Sharon written in red, pin holes, and I [Unreadable] Right!! above a ☮ peace sign.
A salty one with sweat stains and what I think is charcoal from a MOPP suit,
Salty.
Salty.
Pinholes.
1in by 1in glint tape sewn on.
Residue from when a 2x2 in glint tape square was taped on.
Lose threads and shaddowing showing a 1x2in glint tape square was on the top and a rank patch on the front.
Light blue thread from when glint tape was sewn on with a tiny corner of glint tape still attached.
A SGT 1st class and a 2x2 in square of glint tape sewn on.
SPC Patch.
Threads from when a rank was sewn on.
A really intricate specialists patch on a strange backing.
A strange white 1x2 in rectangle of what I assume used to be glint tape is sewn on and evidence a SPC rank was pined and glued on.
Pin holes on the back of the cover and tape on the inside behind the pin holes.
Duct tape residue and a tiny sliver of duct tape.
I realise that isn't 30 but I forgot to write some down and now they are mixed in with my other 50.
