Thanks Dan; is that a rare patch do you know? Well besides most contractor patches being rare that is. I have some contractor uniforms but the patches are harder to come by. You have a great collection!

Re: PMC patches
Hi Zeked,
These were made in country, unsure of how many were made but the company my mate worked for was full of ex Kiwi soldiers so there could be a few out there. He also had NZ flags and the Maori flag he wore but no spares sadly.
Link to the Maori flag if you ever see the patch floating around. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tino_rangatiratanga
Thanks
Dan

Wars produce a lot of interesting insignia!
Collecting Afghan patches through proxy scouts, as I do, you cast a wide net and every so often some interesting fish turn up in the catch!
Top left: Raytheon's training program to train English for aviation use.
Top center: This goes with the TFBSO patch lower right. This is a DoD Task Force for Business and Stability Operations. They work with the Afghan Ministry of Mines and are based in Camp Morehead.
Top right: Zombie Team. I guess when you think about it, this could go with any defense related bureaucratic job, right?
Bottom left: Cross-Fit exercise team or club based in Georgia. Obviously a team member had some patches made for their club to bring home to everyone.

Re: PMC patches
Very nice patches! I like the contractor stuff but it is hard to come buy - in particular if you don't know what the patches look like. This is a nice reference thread for sure. Thanks!

Craft International - Chris Kyle
Here is a velcro backed contractor patch made in Afghanistan for Craft. This is the company that SEAL Chris Kyle of American Sniper fame co-founded when he left the Navy. There is a photo in the book of him wearing the patch. A forum member sent me a link to better picture and that picture is about halfway down the page at this link: http://blunttrama.ning.com/page/craft-international
It's by far my favorite contractor patch because it says "Regardless of what your momma told you... Violence does solve problems."
