I love it! Using stones as base is very creative! Out of curiousity, why is VN era lid there? Unless I'm mistaken, some of units actually used it in DS?

thanks mercenary ,for the saudi part of the display im using my nam era m1c but will update with a chinese m1 when funds permit i believe the saudi's used the autumn pattern nam mitchell covers along side the choc chip ones thanks james

Your absolutely correct James, the Saudi forces in GW1 wore US M1's with "Beach side" Mitchell covers out, they also wore German Helm 1 ( M1956)lids too, with the same covers!!
So Mitchell covers are very appropriate for GW 1 displays
