    It was a part of the 14th Engineer Battalion, 555th Engineer Brigade I think, so they worn this patch :

    Hi PE, Thanks for this information, I told you and I tell you again, you are the best. Any way, I have no idea if the guy was attached to another units, I have bought a set from a guy who served in the 761st chemical company, there were not patches sewn on the sleeves so I have no idea. Thanks again for your help it s always appreciated.

    I was part of the 761st Chemical Company based (1989-1992)out of Ft Ord, CA. 7th Infantry Division Light assigned to the 14th engineers. Our company was sent to the Persian Gulf in the First Gulf War and attached to 101st Airborne Unit. We had the 101sy as a comabet patch and Norcom as out Unit patch. We were a 100 man unit. Trained to decontaminate Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Agents. We were a light company with Humvess to smoke blowing machines and had trailers that carries Sanators (DecCon equiptment).

    I saw the patch you have shown. I believe this patch is when the 761st got reassigned to ft. lewis, WA.

    If you would like to see a jpg of a Class A uniform with all of the 761st patches during the 89 - 92 time frame let me know and ill send a pic
