I think what Faston is saying is that this PT vest was used in the movie "Black Hawk Down" and was used by the character Hoot. If this is so, this needs to be moved to Hollywood and Movie Militaria section.

Philip, I believe that Faston means the Battle of Mogadishu which occured from Otober 3-4 1993 in Mogadishu, Somalia. Here's a link to a page about it.

Interesting item faston, there's a real market for film used items, I'm sorry I'm a little confused, is this vest a BHD movie piece, or a recreation of a BHD movie piece?
