OIF-OEF Tape Display Empty OIF-OEF Tape Display

Many of you know I'm heavy into uniforms, but I'm also heavy into insignia. I have put together a display using tapes (all but one being theatre made) from DCU's. The one being non-theatre made is the DOD tape. I have a stripped DCU that I have been using for parts (Buttons mostly) but now I decided I needed a background for my display, so I traced an area of the DCU and cut the cloth out and put all of the patches on top of the cloth. It makes a nice display even better.

And before you ask, yes, I took the glass off so it wouldn't have a glare.

Very nicely done display. Too bad you destroyed a DCU to make it! Very Happy Just kidding!

Very cool display, Andrew. That'd look really spiffy if you would frame it. Smile

Thanks. Well, Is it a glass front display case so...maybe that's considered framing? And besides, I want to be able to add and take away from it as needed.

Oh okay, I didn't know you had them inside a case. I think I had a brain-fart and thought it was some type of open-topped shadowbox or something...

I understand the logic of wanting to modify it as needed, also. Still a neat concept, nonetheless.
