If any of you have ever been to Fort Polk, you might recall the big surplus store that is not to far from the main gate. Place is like a hoarders obsession gone wild. Sad thing is, all the "stuff" they just keep piling up outside subject to the wonderful Louisiana elements. Inside is exactly what you expect of a hoarders home, with every bit of floor and wall space taken by piles of uniforms and kit thrown haphazardly about the store. Only very narrow pathways weaving through it all, with about 35 years of dirt and loose things like hats, etc.. just ground into a sticky morass...

The dumps at US bases are loaded too....I know guys who have witness 5-ton truckloads being dumped and then ran over with bulldozers....the horror.
