Very nice examples Ronnie, I'm particularly interested in learning more about your Briezh patches, I have friends in Brittany...I'm guessing the commando base would be Brest? Wink

The French Navy Spécial Forces have 2 base.

    - The first in LORIENT : (De penfentenyo, jaubert, trepel, de montfort, kieffer)
    - The second in SAINT MANDRIER (where a live) : ( Hubert ) Because in St Mandrier there is the frogmen.

Many thanks for this information Ronnie, that's great.

Am I right in thinking the Troupes de marine have a base in Brest, the reason I ask is that I have some patches for the Troupes De Marine, and I am trying to work out, where they are based. If it is Brest I will ask my friends to visit Brest, and try and source some more patches for me.

    Gary Very Happy

TROUPE DE MARINE is not commando marine.
Troupe de marine = french army
    Commandos marine = french navy

And you can't visit the FORFUSCO base.
