    Hello,

Here are two rare patches, less than 15 pieces made by the French TAGAB Medical Team from the Battle Group ALLOBROGES (Winter 2010 - 2011).

You will find all ingredients linked to medics as well as french mountain troops. In the middle, the horn from the 7e BCA (leader of the Battle Group), the 93 in the red star for the 93e RAM and the 27 in the blue star is for the 27e BCA. This last unit was present during Winter 2009 - 2010, but as all medical team, they dragged personnel from other units too.

    Enjoy !

hahaha, I particulary love the Motto on this one Razz We can translate it in english as "if it's possible, then you can consider it's [already] done. If it's impossible, then we'll do that". I understand it like : nothing is impossible for soldiers, just wait and see ! Interesting motto in my opinion ! Very Happy

    Hello,

Just get this patch from the ED 1/33 Belfort which is located at Cognac on BA 709 (Air Base). Two UAVs from Drone Squadron 1/33 are used in Afghanistan since 2009. This squadron launched also an UAV over the Lybia on 24th August 2011.

This patch is made in Netherlands by APS for Afghanistan. It could be purchased directly from the Drone Squadron.

    Hello,

Just get this new patch in my collection.

    GFS JEHOL 1 (January - May 2010)

Patch from the SFG - Groupement des Forces Spéciales JEHOL 1 which was raised in January 2010 after the kidnapping of two french journalists on December 2009. They were freed after 547 days.

This SFG is composed of commandos from CTLO, CPA 10, 1er RPIMa and AFULSCO. I located two other patches JEHOL 2 (May -November 2010 - Blue lettering) and JEHOL 3 (November 2010 - April 2011 - Green lettering).

JEHOL is coming from the name of the horse which is the main character of the book The Horsemen from Joseph Kessel. Let them hate so long as they fear is the motto. A favorite saying of Galigula.

You are right. It is a high quality patch made in Netherlands by an aviation patch supplier. I rather prefer patch made in Afghanistan but this one was cool.

    Hello Jean-Yves
It is interesting information about operation JEHOL and related patches.

I have patches for JEHOL III (2 colour variants) and JEHOL IV.

I know they are related to French SOF but I had no more info.

    Now it's getting clear.

JEHOL III is a round patch with grey (or sand) background. Inside the patch is X letter and black head with white eyes of something.
Letters around say: COUNTER TERRORISM TEAM / Jehol III / SPECIAL FORCES.

JEHOL IV is an oval black patch with white border, white symbol of French SOF Command, white figure of Taliban fighter and big red IV number.

I will provide the pics soon.

    Regards

    Rafal

    Hello Rafal,

Thank you for posting your patches.

To be frank, I never see them. Probably variants. Which sector they are coming from ?

Known Jeho 2 and 3 patches apart the one I did post are like that.

    Hello,

Here is an unusual patch made in Afghanistan probably for the birthday of Colonel Roland Lecoeur.

He was commanding the 3e RG (3e Régiment de Génie) from 2006 to 2008.
