USCENTAF (desert patch with white map)

can you tell me what's this patch ;



Well, I know it's USCENTAF, but why white map ? Normally, map is in black ;



The person who give them to me said me they're previous model and they were never worn. They were produce in small quantity and big lots were destroy.

Can someone tell me more about this patch ?

Just a little background first about USCENTAF. They fought in both Desert Storm and OEF and OIF. The patch could be a theatre made patch or a specialty patch. The patch comes before 2008 when the command was redesignated USCENT. Can you post pictures of the back? Jake

Hey,
I've got both patches also, they're not theatre made, they're just a different manufacterer. Chances are that the regulations weren't specific and the patch company manufactered what made sense. And it doesn't look DS time period ethier, and it does look computer embriodered which is typical of Tawianese made patches. So chances are it's a legit AF patch that's earlier than most. Enjoy.
