2003 Vet bringbacks from Iraq

These items are bring backs from Sgt. Goulet from the invasion of Iraq. How do I know these are from Sgt. Goulet and are from the invasion? Sgt. Goulet was good enough to write his name in some of the items and the date he picked them up. The canteen is named and dated 04-06-2003.

This pack is clearly Iraqi, but it was made from a U.S. pack in India.

Iraqi Army uniform with no name, tags or insignia and another pack with no markings.

Iraqi gas mask and bag. It is marked, but I do not know its meaning. Sgt. Goulet picked this up the same day he picked up the canteen, 04-06-03.

The gas mask is Iraqi made, but the canister is not.

If I got it correct the helmet is also Iraqi made. Sgt. Goulet was also good enough to date when he picked this helmet up. Research showed that March 25 2003 was the 5th day of the invasion of Iraq and major sand storm lasting 3 days stopped the U.S. on its way to Baghdad.

So everything dates to the invasion. Sgt. Goulet clearly had an eye towards his part in history. This is the difference between a very specific place and time in history and being associated with a place in time in history. Thank you Sgt. Goulet, I only wish I knew what outfit you were with.
