THE INTERESTING NOTE ABOUT THE FELLOW IN THE 4 PICTURES ABOVE is that it appears to be MAJOR GENERAL ROMAN POLKO who was the GROM COMMANDER FROM May 26, 2000–February 11, 2004 & February 23, 2006– November 8, 2006...

HERE IS A PHOTO OF HIM IN IRAQ BACK IN 2003/2004 I BELIEVE...

Does anyone know who the manufacturer of the Multi-Cam is that is used by the DEA and the USSF soldiers? I see this Multi-Cam in unissued sets around Ft. Knox all the time. The maker on those are Condor.

now this is what WIKIPEDIA says about multicam...or the Polish version....

"Another non-licensed copy, called Suez pattern, very similar to original MultiCam, is used by Polish special forces GROM, BOA and BOR (Polish secret service) in their newest uniforms."

Well CRYE sells their field shirt for $118 & the trousers for $115..... affraid
and they are supposedly partnered with the Natick Labs...

    FROM WIKIPEDIA.....

MultiCam is a modern multi-environment camouflage pattern developed by Crye Associates in conjunction with U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center (also known as U.S Army Natick labs). The pattern was on the race to replace the out-dated 3-color desert and Woodland patterns, but eventually lost to the Universal Camouflage Pattern seen in the Army Combat Uniform.

Listening at the few news I have from a SF guy they use many brands but mainly Propper because it has the same pattern as ACU.
USAF AFSOC uses both Propper and Crye.
Flyye and Truspec are usually crap. Colors fade after a few washing.

The US Army is currently toying with the idea of implementing MultiCam to replace ACU (at least for usage in Afghanistan). They have also, however, introduced a new variant of ACU called UCP-Delta, which is ACU with coyote brown thrown in. There are units trialling both uniforms in-theatre at the moment, but I am unsure as to when the decision of one over the other will be made.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it's a Chinook. If I'm right the CH-53 is used for the Marines.

I thought it was interesting that the Army decided to go Muticam since there's been such a huge hype about the digital since 2002. Maybe they should just use MARPAT. lol!
