If I remember things correctly, during the post-2003/OIF era there were no Iraqi MoD units on jump status. ICTF may have gained the capability, but perhaps only in the last couple years. Despite this, Iraqi para wings seem to be worn fairly commonly.

Iraqis were patch whore. They wear anything that is "cool" like jump wings.

Fact. There were thousands of Iraqi Army soldiers that wore the "Troop Special Forces" patch, despite having nothing to do with any element of ISOF. And many more that wore the patch of a previous landowner (101st, 4th ID, 2SCR, etc). Or US rank insignia. IGFC couldn't even get their guys into the same uniform pattern, I have pictures of maybe 5-6 different uniform patterns being worn in 2008-2009, all in wide spread use and in the same command. The only real consistency in uniforms during that era was from the National Police (and their blue digital camo pattern). Don't get me started on the FPS and IP and their store bought slacks and shirts..
