    Since I started collecting in 2000, I have acquired several different pieces of Republican Guard Militaria.
    Some I still have and some I have sold off to younger, beginning collectors.
    First off: RG cloth, plastic and metal triangles. Sheet with Humurabi Forces letterhead.
    Second: RG badge and medal collection
    Third; Berets marked with the label -
    Wassit General Company for Textile Industries
    RG for Republican Guard inside triangle
    Made in Iraq

    My RG Uniform purchased from Marty Vaughan in 2004.
    It is for a Brigadier General with Staff College Stripe, medals, qardoon and German made shoulder boards.
    The pant leg is folded back to show the tie at the bottom.

    Thanks for sharing your RG collection with us, Bob. Way back in 1991, my first Iraqi jacket was a well used green Republican Guard jacket.

    Thanks for the above comments. It took a lot of years to collect all those items and every once in a while
    something different comes out of the woodwork.
    Not much coming out of Iraq at the present. Apparently they (customs) are cracking down on Iraqi Militaria
    being shipped out of Iraq.
