Back from Afghanistan and thought Id share some of the things I brought back.
The ANA would often go to the tailor at a COP I lived at to have things altered or made. So when I saw the combat shirts and boonies getting made I went and got one for myself. The ANA in the photos wearing the same kind of boonie and shirt was my friend and I also have a uniform and patches from him I may post later on.
The "Afghan Commandoes" t-shirts were really popular with Afghan forces where I was (Kunar). Some would have them made into combat shirts like this one. How the shirts looked and were made would differ depending on the tailor making it. Some would also use a different t-shirt or sleeves from a different uniform.
The boonie is just a regular boonie.
