WOW! I want to cry because I can see so many things I would have bought. Especially CU and CCU.

Thanks for taking the time to share your photos with the forum. It looks like an amazing show.

I can say that the amount of modern US items at the show is mind boggling. There is nowhere near that amount at the US shows, even the SoS doesn't have that much modern. I'm jealous.

    I am impressed.

Did not think Italian Militatia shows were this involved.

My wife will be in Italy in July through October, and she will be looking for any interesting Militaria for me...Yes, she knows what to look for.

I am curios to know where the show took place, and if any other shows such as this one are scheduled for this summer, and where..

I am almost thinking of meeting her in October...A show such as this would certainly help me to make up my mind...

Quante belle cose , vorrei comprarle tutte...

     Ciao, rip...

I don't know how is the price range in US, i've been only to europe shows.
Consider also the fact that when buying from USA we have to add shipping and customs fee.
IMHO price was "right" on some items, while some are overpriced (expecially vietnam items, no idea on the WW2 stuff as i don't collect it), as usually jems can be found between junk and because of sellers not knowing what they sell.

    Examples (in US dollars):
-CCU sets were priced at 130$ (same price delivered home if you pay about 75$ on ebay)
-modified tops were somewhere between 40/70$
-36th commando shirt i bought was 25$ because it was lithuanian army Smile
    -KL-MFG set was 60$
-USMC ghillie suit was 120$, you can think it is high but those are bulky,  shipping is high...pluys the only other one on the show was priced at 350$
-price for MICH helmets are high, generally over 200$
-Type 3 NWU sets with hat were priced at 190$ (high if you ask me, but they sold quite well for what i've seen)

But it ain't no paradise, modern military items are mixed with various memorabilia, hunting, camping and airsoft items...they are treated more as outdoor items than collectibles (thankfully, sometimes). You just have to dig deeper and as usual deal with some rude sellers which are puzzled on why you buy items that are not your size Smile.
Plus there is the possibility that next Militalia fair will have the same items, without nothing new (items come out in a more slow manner than i think happens in USA). Groupings are also almost impossible to find.

Some of it most likely never made it back to the US....dispersed from US bases in Europe perhaps.

    Just my thoughts,

I don't think those prices are out of line for what we see in the US.
