Stumbled in to this nvg arm, shot a photo and wanted to post it on here for discussion. Typically i've seen legit NVG arms that are metal and 'repro' ones that are plastic. However this one seems to be a better quality of plastic than many i've seen out there. When I held it, I could adjust the arm with no problem, adjusted and moved nicely. Could this be a legit NVG arm?

I do not know the manufacturer of this, the logo and # on it are throwing me off. Logo is not Wilcox or Norotos. # on the item is 643-PL-00

Looks like this possibly was used with pvs-14s and pvs-15s?

Any thoughts or ideas? I'm most curious.

Well, plastic and metal material are not a good way to differenciate real and repro NVG arms / mounts...the old model of NVG mount was in hard plastic, but they are legit. On the other hand, modern reproductions of NVG mount are also made in metal....
