Hello everyone. I had a question about fedayeen belts. Did they ever use the black Iraqi belts with the eagle plastic belt buckle? I was looking at purchasing one, but someone told me those kind are reproductions. Please Help Me out.

The vertical eagles are pre 1991. The horizontal, pre and post 2003. Both are most likely Navy and not Fedayeen. That being said, the fedayeen could have used them as they were paramilitary. In short, the very existence of the vertical style lets you know that the belt existed before the Fedayeen existed... So, Navy.Hope this helps although a bit late. Scott.
