AStan Made Patch Help with Identification Please Empty AStan Made Patch Help with Identification Please

Here is one that I am stuck on. Came from a a really good source of SOF insignia made in Afghanistan. Have had this for probably six months and with no luck in determining who may have worn it. Nothing really fancy, a rather typical Nous Defions symbol. The only unusual piece is what looks to be an inverted "V" on the skull. It also seems to be in MultiCam insignia colors which is kind of interesting. The handle of the sword at the bottom is much better defined on the patch but did not photograph well. The patch is backed in black velcro.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I have seen a patch like this before somewhere, It is an ODA patch, for a task force I believe...I just cant remember which one, for the life of me.

BTW, it is the letter "Lambda" instead of an upside down V

Thanks for the information Shane. Appreciated. If you can recall any further post it up.

Alpha Platoon, ST10 uses a similar symbol as a stylized "A" for some of their insignia and I mulled that around as an ident for a bit but remain unconvinced. The Nous Defions has me all but certain that it's US Special Forces related .......
