French F1- with Desert Salade cover.

Hi Guys.
This an example of the type of F1,used by the French forces in Iraq 1991,specifically the French Explosive Ordnance Engineers.

These are my favourite Euro "tin lid's",the French always come up with simple,but serviceable kit... great design's stand up to the test of time

Tasty and Nutritious ,too,great with an Olive oil dressing

You probably could take out the liner and have a right functional "in the field" salad bowl if you wished!
Is this the same style of helmet that can be fitted with the woodland cover that has the rubberised rim around it?

Yeah,this is the same style,of lid with the woodland cover. I own two series 2 and one series 1 (strangely). The series 2 lids I bought ,came with the Salade netting ,and the series 1 came with Cammo cover.
