    Got confirmation from LBT that this is legit. LBT-6155A

    This one was not issued / used, but they were made for the ANA (no data tags). Can anyone find a photo of one being fielded in-country ?

    Edit: now that I look at this again I see these are likely the same guys, they even have the sewn on colored rectangles. I was just going off the captions. So no clue who they are except they are in Laghman province

    A lot of these were surplused, also in tan. Definitely sub standard quality. Wonder if also the other lbt items given to Afghan SF are the same quality (i think not)

    According to post number 72 in https://oefoif.forumotion.net/t2244p60-afghan-national-army-commando-patches the black circle with yellow designs is General Directorate of Police Special Units, so most of these guys are CRUs or PRCs?

     These were for sale on Ebay some time back in the black like MZ has and in tan like Taucco mentioned.  If memory serves me right, these were sold as being ANBP (Afghan National Border Police) and ANP (Afghan National Police).

    I own two of the black versions and I can attest to them being of sub-standard quality.  I am kicking myself for not grabbing one of the brown/tan versions now.  

    One interesting thing though.....on the Ebay auctions, there was a picture of the vest with an LBT red lion tag sewn on.  When my vests arrived, they were both missing said tag.

    As to who used these......there is a picture of these black versions in use with the Afghan Air Force as well.

    I am talking about the slick plate carriers (i think also older modular plate carrier variants were issued at a time), the load bearing chest rigs and 3 day packs, all in tan color (the one that looks brownish). Part numbers 6094, 6037a, 1961a, 1476a.

    It's also worth noticing that surplused items from ebay were sent directly from LBT factory.

    That is 100% correct. The ones on Ebay were straight from LBT.
