    Definitely not US made. The quality on this helmet is beyond pathetic. Judging from the shrapnel hits, I highly doubt this soldier survived. The shrapnel holes come from the inside to the outside. The only mark on this helmet is an O in thecrown. It doesn't appear to have ever had a rubber strip around the outside. This one has been tenatively identified as Afghan used. Probably Chinese made for Afghanistan.

    Beautiful Helmet nkomo! This a very rare helmet you got here. Afghan helmets are always the hardest ones to find.
