A Qahir mesh plate carrier

Hi,

I haven't been on the forum for a while, hope you will enjoy this plate carrier. Come from a french operator, this one looks uncommon to me because of the mesh used. It's the only one I have in this material.

This is the only one I ever seen with the use of mesh ! Talk a little bit with the previous owner,he told me that at the time (around 2007) a little number of these had been made for his unit. At the beginning I was thinking the mesh was used because of a maritime use. His answer was it's been made this way because the mesh was the strongest material you could find at this time.

Welcome back! Not a lot of activity these days but I still enjoy checking in.

First plate carrier I have seen with mesh so is unique. The explanation of
the mesh makes sense to me. Mesh can be very very strong and durable.

I agree BOC! I have an account there but only check in less than once a month at the most. Social media is not my thing and maybe, at some point, others will feel the same and start coming back. I have a few items I picked up at the last Show of Shows in February and will work on getting some things posted.
