I recently found this picture of southern Iraq dated 2003. On this picture, there's a desert camouflage I do not know. Is there someone here who can ID this camo ?

Re: identify camouflage ?
Kind of looks like Aussie camo but hard to know for sure without a higher resolution picture.

Re: identify camouflage ?
I was surfing and it also could be Norwegian issue as well. The dark brown does not seem as prominent as the other NOR examples I have seen but the color scheme seems to be correct.

Re: identify camouflage ?
Looks like this to me. You can see the green is faded on his uniform.
From camopedia.org
One of the last patterns introduced to Iraqi military forces was a desert "blotch" pattern, having irregular spots of black, reddish-brown and olive green on a tan background. Crudely printed and manufactured, the colors of the pattern remained relatively constant, although some variations have been documented. Large quantities of uniforms in this pattern survived the 2003 invasion by coalition forces and would end up supplying some units of the newly formed Iraqi security forces, including the Iraqi Civil Defense Corps (ICDC) and the Iraqi National Guard (ING).

I don't think so, even if the green faded the brown seems to spread out.thewolf wrote:Looks like this to me. You can see the green is faded on his uniform.
