    Hi all,

Has anyone seen this patch/ logo before?
The picture was taken at a patch shop in Afghanistan.

    Thanks for your help!

Maybe, maybe something to do with 4th ID. In Iraq in 03 they were TF Iron Horse. A stretch I know but it's a starting point possibly.

Thanks! I was thinking something foreign (perhaps Scandinavian) myself, but I'll look into it!

Kind of reminds me of the 1st generation US Army Psy Ops insignia. Anyway good luck on your search and ID'ing it.

Zeked, i'm not quite following your connection there with the PSYOP heraldry.. Are you referring to the 1st US Special Operations Command patch? https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/91FWfrHW4FL._UY445_.jpg or something else?

Sorry I was not very clear on my response, I should have double-checked before I posted. But that is the patch I was getting at when I posted. Here is the patch from your link below. I was thinking you patch could be a morale patch a unit created for a tour. Thanks Clete

I think I know what you mean with PsyOps (see attached pic of their DUI), but the sword and the rod of Asclepius don't really fit that picture. That's why I thought it might be foreign...Unknown horse patch - can you ID? Img_2210

The patch pictured is definitively not any official U.S. PSYOP insignia, and I am nearly certain it is not any unofficial variant either.. it could be something made locally by a TPT/TMT, but it would be difficult to make that determination. If it is a foreign variant, it wouldn't surprise me.

    Cool patch regardless.

Yeah, I'm fairly sure it isn't US PSYOPS related but do appreciate everyone's input so far. I assume it will be very hard to ID this one. I was hoping some international experts would chime in but I wouldn't even know which country it would be from.

This is driving me nuts as I can't find it lol. Brits have some similar badges in design/size/shape but no match.

I was looking at the snake....looks like Viking motif. I googled a couple Nordic countries and found this. Maybe a lead....
