Iraqi Orders, and I.D. Cards at military show Empty Iraqi Orders, and I.D. Cards at military show

Last weekend, I went to a military show at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds and had a chance to see some hard to find Iraqi Items.
Beautiful Wisam al-Rafidain (Order of Two Rivers) in several classes plus The Order of Al Qadissiya (Iraqi -Iranian War) in two classes.
I didn't have my good camera along so some of the pictures are a little out of focus.
Do not ask me who had these items as he wishes to remain anonymous.

Here are some I.D. Cards he brought along. Translations included.
The first card is very rare.

Damn! I could have brought home dozens of those, but instead they were turned over to G-2!

Some one that was in G-2 probably has a nice collection at home thanks to you.

I was with 2d battalion, 5th Special Forces Group most of my career, and during Desert Shield we were based in northern Saudi Arabia and worked as advisors to the Arab Coalition forces (I was with the Egyptian forces).  The Saudis issued each of us ID cards which pretty much gave us access to anywhere we needed to go.  Prior to - and during - the war, we used these ID cards to get through Saudi barricades so that we could drive up to the border posts along the Saudi/Kuwaiti frontier.

I kept my pink ID card, and it currently sits on a shelf in my 'man cave.'

I brought home a couple Iraqi IDs I picked up in western Kuwait during the ground war back in '91.  Here's one of them, which I've put in a small frame displayed with a bunch of my Iraqi 'bring backs.'
