ODB-7320 Challenge coin grouping! Empty ODB-7320 Challenge coin grouping!

Post by Guest Thu Dec 04, 2014 11:47 am

    Hi all,

I recently acquired this small grouping from a guy who got it straight from the operator.
What puzzles me is the USSF crest with "B37" on it. I guess it means B company, 3rd battalion, 7th SFG(A)?
These are not one of the many reproductions/ fakes from Ebay, but the real deal!
    Enjoy!

    Fred

Yes, that's exactly what it means.

    Nice grouping of coins .....

I recently got some more coins that belonged to the same guy.
This is my favourite; the back is even better however!
I'm hesitant to post the back though cause I know there are already so many reproductions out there...
Not something you'll see soon again...

Hi Fred! Beautiful set of coins.

Hey what do the 3 sets of letters on the Bison 780 coin say? Looks like 13A, R4N, L9R?

    Thanks,

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

    You should see the rest!
This is only a part of the coin grouping I acquired.
The letters say "R4N, L9R and N3AA" or something like that. It's hard to read.
On the back it has the logos of ODA 781, ODA 782, ODA 783, ODA 784 and ODA 785!
Probably the best coin i have...

This is a coin for ODB 780 (B Co, 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group), so that makes sense to have reference to other detachment on reverse.

With the addition of a 4th battalion in 7th SFG (and in most SFG indeed), they changed the nomenclature of ODA, and ODB 780 became ODB 7320 :

    PE,

    Thanks, very useful docs!
I've used them before, and it's probably the best summary of the current USSF organisation.
    Good work man!
