Afghanistan Pakol hat

Hey guys,

To my much surprise, my family friend sent me this Pakol hat for free! Long story short, he used to be in Afghanistan for missionary. I asked him if he could give me an ORIGINAL Pakol hat made from Afghanistan so here it is!

No labels nor tags. Most of those hats were made in small tailor shops in small villages. If you want, I can take a picture of inside.

I have seriously thought about trying to buy one of these, I think they are super interesting, look warm too for when you are traipsing through the Hindu-Kush range trying to find everybody's favorite 6ft 5in tall terrorist

I have a tan shemagh just like your display figure, too.

I love this hat ! Belgian army also used this in Afghanistan (with a label inside), but I can't find pictures. I I see it in a military base here in Belgiun (Arlon), some belgian soldiers who came back from Afghanistan had them.

I finally just got one for my collection. it was used by a US SF guy in Afghanistan. Mine is black.

this is a little different, a pakol hat made of woodland-like camouflage cloth. my guess is it was sold as a souvenir. this one anyway was worn by an italian army SF soldier drom TF NIBBIO, on their early 2003 afghan deployment.
