Afghan made leather sling and grenade carrier

I picked these items up at the southern Bazaar in Parwan. First up is a sling that attacks to the weapon using two small buckles (one on each end).



The second item is a grenade carrier. I've included the file image taken from a taliban video showing a similar one.





Now all I need are the grenades. to complete the display.

Compared to a sewn pouch it is but the construction is quite simple: 4 leather strips, a buckle, some rivots, and belt loops.

The tan one was made by a vendor in Parwan Province in 2012
