Brought back by US Special Forces Soldier after clearing an Iraqi general's compound in 2003. Soldier did not remember general's name. scratch

    25 inches long

    Maybe a "beat-down" stick ? Any ideas?

it looks like a swagger stick. The Saddam Era Iraqi military, like many Middle Eastern armies, had a very heavy British influence in terms of their uniforms and traditions.

Definitely a swagger stick. It would make sense that this came from a higher officer, because most of the military issued ones are aren't as nice as this one. I would say this is custom made (Private Purchase)

    Very cool piece!
