Can anyone ID this patch? It is covered with plastic on the front and has Velcro on the back.

    Thanks in advance.

I had my friend in Iraq translate you patch and it is a Kurdish Arm Patch.
The Kurdish writing must be a different Arabic as he had a harder time to translate it but this is what
    he came up with.
    Translation above: the Emergency Police
Left: not sure, mostly - Loyalty to Iraq (in Kurdish)
    Right: Kirkuk Police (in Kurdish)
Not 100% positive on the ESU but think it is for Emergency Support Unit (my thoughts).

After a google search on Kirkuk Emergency Support Unit I found a picture on militaryphotos.net of this patch worn by an Iraqi army Emergency Services Unit soldier. Thanks for the help, Bob.

    Scott,
You're more than welcome. At least you give a" thank you" for the help.

Hello Mwatsonnpd. Thanks a lot for your reply : having vets who accept to share their experiences is always great for collectors.

If possible, we will just appreciate you post an introduction of you HERE. Thanks for your comprehension and welcome aboard !  Wink
