Show some cool items you couldn't have!

As the famous saying goes "You can't have everything". So.... During the hunting, one would have to pass some cool stuff he wanted due to insufficient fund, or had to sacrifice few cool items for more expensive and cooler items. (Or perhaps..... Because of your wife, right?!)

I thought it would make an interesting thread because everybody would post pictures of their new acquisitions, but what about items they COULDN'T buy at time?

Maybe a good therapy thread for your regrets?!

It is my nature to take pictures of cool stuff I find in the Surplus Stores that I couldn't purchase at time. So I thought it would be fun to start this thread where everyone could share pictures or talk about stuff they had to pass for some reason.

I saw some ACU and woodland pouches that have been painted tan and a couple of patched DCU's but nothing exciting.

Also, I saw a pile of multicam IOTV body armors as well.

Awhile ago I started to collect A-10 patches as my interests in USAF has piped up ever since my sister got in the Air Force Academy.

I saw a VERY NICE HGU-55 flight helmet complete with mask, goggles, etc... That came from the crewman who worked in C-130. My mind rushed and had a vision of build a nice mannequin of A-10 pilot and thought it would be a good opportunity because flight helmets always are the most expensive piece of the flight gear. The store offered it to me for just $300 because they got it a day before. They told me that the deal is temporary before they research then sell it for the true market price. I didn't have money on my hand at this time.

Well Arch, here are two DCU's I didn't win on eBay last week. Both were on my list of DCU's I want-Officrs and OD patched DCU's. Did anyone here win these?

A somewhat related item that I once saw at a gun show shortly after Desert Storm. It was a Trix cereal box from Iraq that was in Arabic and had Saddam Hussein's picture on it. Whoever designed the graphics definitely had a sense of humor because the Trix rabbit looked non too pleased to be sharing the stage with Saddam.
