Hello,
I am not familiar with the Tiger Patches, something new for me that I must hunt !
I wonder if the other patches from the 27.BCA are worn in Afghanistan, specially the orange one. I could be wrong but it sounds that those patches has been made in Afghanistan for France ?
Don't hesitate to post your patches in appropriate Task Force or SGTIAs Posts which have been already created.

Hello,
The Battle Group Tiger started its tour in November 2011 and probably they have just returned home after the deployment. I got the patches and the badge from a legionaire (2REG) who was asigned to BG Tiger. The patches look like they were made in Europe. The green one was used and worn. The other 2 theater made patches - I am also not sure if they were worn on the uniforms. But I can ensure you that in Camp Warehouse (Kabul) you can find tons of different patches not only made for the units but also the commemorative ones ordered by the soldiers.

The 27.BCA did publish a tour book. Just get it from them as well as their TF patch.

Hi,
This grouping was belonging to a mountain troop soldier from the 1st Coy (Alpha) of the 27.BCA.
We have :
- A FELIN set used in Astan.
- UBAS made by OPEX
- Tee-shirt. Brand GILDAN Made in Nicaragua.
- Patches including the soldier code , etc...

Some menbers of the ALPHA Coy did cut FELIN pockets for the kneepads because those two did concentrate sudation and they knees were always wet.

French Military humor The plateau of Glières is in Haute-Savoie. Well known Maquis during WWII.
Patches1st Coy low visibility patch on the left and 2nd Section (Code BLUE 30) on the right

Phone cards and mobile sim card
