I thought I would share a couple of interesting varieties of Iraqi helmets here. First up is an M-80 that is overpainted in a blue/gray for Air Force use. These can be found in use by Air Defence units as shown below.

Next is another M-80 variant. This helmet utilizes the liner and chinstrap from from the Polish WZ-50 helmet and is used primarily by the Popular Army. It is factory reworked with new rivets added to accomodate the liner. Scott.

Some interesting variations Scott. The M80 with the polish liner and chinstrap is pretty cool.

I saw an M80 helmet with a leather liner like that but I did not go after it thinking it looked strange, but I guess some of them had liners like that and the one you showed. Nice items.
