UAE SOC DCU

Hi All,

Well just organised to get this set off a mate. He obtained it in 2008 from a UAE SF major in Bagram, Afghanistan. He was saying the owner had one for wear covered in qualification badges and thinks this is his "sterile" version for wear. Usualy they have a UAE ARMY tab, this is the first time iv seen the UAE SOC tab which I guess stands for special operations command. By the way if anyones got a set of UAE major rank slides please let me know.

The UAE SOF guys on BAf are now wearing a desert digital camo pattern uniform and lots of badges. They have retained the same SSI with the Jambia. I managed to obtain these two badges and a name tape for "KALIFA". Many of them have their insignia made at the Camp Vance sew shop, which is where I found these badges.

If I'm not mistaken, the bottom piece is a qualification badge for the UAE's SEAL personnel. Good stuff ......

That was my take on it but I'm not sure if they call it a Trident" or SEAL badge. This is another with better detail.

Nice ones, they were wearing the digis in 2010 too. Unfortunatly I never bothered to look for any. Again, great patches.
