Green: Afghan National Army and Air Force. This can be seen in a dark green and a lighter green color. Coloration depends on manufacturer.

Maroon: Afghan Army Commandos and Airborne. The Commandos have been seen wearing maroon berets as well as green berets. Not sure if the maroon denotes being assigned to an Airborne or SF type unit.

Depending on what you have in trade, I've got a spare Commando beret with insignia. Also brought back a few sets of the new ANA camo with all local made insignia. Two of those are for a Commando. Those are staying in my collection but I can send you some pics.

With my US collection spanning Civil war to current and international around 180 countries, I'm pretty flexible.

This beret is was sent along with the other two berets I have but it has padding between the liner and maroon felt. I wanted to show the label. All three of these came out of Ghazni Province.
