They have a different patch for each rotation/contingent. The patch on the sleeve with VI is 6th rotation

Is the guy on the right in all the other pictures with Japan and such?

Yes, it's the same guys as you can see on picture with El Salvador and Japan soldiers. All these pics come from his private album of OIF.
