late 90's / early 2000 US "SOF" gear collection

Eagle Industries Assault vest that is modular with Alice / LC2 Clip and duty pouches.
Iam glad if anyone got some info about his one. Never ever saw it on a picture.

SO Tech 2 piece Hellcat, early gen

I've come across a Shooting System pouch now and then. Usually from "higher end" guys. Curious to learn what anyone posts about them.

That SoTech Hellcat was not necessarily a SOF item; they were pretty popular amongst conventional/gpf infantry types. It is possible that was a unit purchase item, but far more likely it was locally purchased by the user either mail order or at a gear store outside of a major base (ATS, Lightfighter, General Jackson's, Commando's etc).. Cool piece of kit, probably made around 2002-2005.

A similar item, the SoTech Falcon (basically a Hellcat with padded shoulders and a hydration carrier) was issued by 325 AIR pursuant to an Afghanistan deployment around '05.

not necessarily, but it's better know for use in the SOF community. 82nd had a special run with the SO Tech Falcon Harness also.

Are there any data tags on the kit? How do you know it is Eagle Ind, or SOTech?. So, I picked up, almost identical to Riggs, Eagle/S.O.Tech gear from a 10thSFG sniper. I'm pretty sure he was a "higher-end guy", and he told me he would "modify", whatever he had to. All on his own.

Do you have any provenance?
If the person you picked it up from is "the guy", He would tell you why why he modified
the piece. Was it a "unit" mod, or a personal mod.
