Six colour Gas Mask Haversack and 3 colour Ammo pouches...ID help please

Hi Guys.

I got these pieces of kit recently, and need help to ID them.

One suggestion, I have so far, is the Gas mask Haversack might be Saudi?????

And I know the Saudi's used similar Ammo pouches,but I have already discounted Dutch issue ,any ideas guy's ???

Any suggestions ( they might be Air-Softie ,sorry Arch ) would be most welcome

Again PLCE fittings and a CQC stamp,which appears on all modern PLCE kit

The Commonwealth aspect makes sense,I guess they use PLCE type fittings too!!

I want these too be genuine so much, not because they cost much,because they didn't ,I just don't want them to be Air-Softie crap...if that makes sense.

At the end of the day if they are some Air-softie junk,then no worries,they cost very little..and they will be chucked at the back of a cupboard,and forgotten about. But it would be cool, if they could be identified as genuine Middle east,or commonwealth kit.

I guess I will need to do some research into Saudi/Common wealth issued kit,and see if I can ID the Gas mask Haversack, and Ammo Pouches.

a fellow collectors has this one which seems to be fom the same family and the same doubts.
would be Holland an option? Wasn't PLCE webbing made also for UAE troops? Or could it be just a quality aftermarket item.

I do not think these are air-soft. They are too well made and appear to have military acceptance stamps on them.

Cheers Arch, I was'nt aware Britain made six colour chem suits for Kuwait...but that's definetely sparked an interest in me

Maybe they are military issue ,I just need to ID them now....or it's gonna bug me, until I find out ....

Many.many thanks for the photos,my pouches have the same PLCE type fittings,as foto 5.5....I don't think they are Dutch as,a Dutch member on IACMC has said he's never seen such a thing in Holland.....But good tip I will look into UAE kit, as for them being aftermarket items I don't know, they appear to have a qaulity QMC stamp as per British PLCE, the mystery continues......Many thanks again for your excellent input

I know I'm a bit late to this "ID party", but is it possible they are trial pieces of some sort, since they're built exactly like British PLCE and have the same quality stamp? Just my 2 cents, for what it's worth.

You're not to late at all,I feel there is no definite ID on this kit yet, but I'm glad to have some really cool pointers...more research is required I feel to truly ID them.

The trial aspect is something I didn't really consider to be honest,so that's cool,as it will give me another excuse to search the net,on PLCE type webbing kit.

When I first saw them I was puzzled ,as the Ammo pouches are so much like a combination of Alice/ PLCE issued kit....The S10 bag,is so identical to the Brit issued haversack it's scary.

Wouldn't it be cool if they turned out to be ultra rare trial pieces.....yeah,right knowing my luck they're made in Taiwan for the rein-actors market

Whatever they are, you can be sure of a few things:

1) They aren't Airsoft. They are too used to be anything an airsofter would want.
2) They aren't reenactor peices (why would a reenactor reenact something he didn't know what the gear was for?)
3) They have been to a desert.

I'm putting my money on Saudi....they look it.

Now this is getting interesting,as this proves that the UAE use PLCE webbing kit,so my Ammo pouches with PLCE attachments, are more than likely UAE issued kit..which is great news. Maybe the S10 haversack is UAE issue too..most informative research Arch ,thanks a lot.....

The ammo pouch is marked 'cqc' products so they are a copy made for the trade market.

Does the respirator pouch have any labels inside?

Rob,that's very interesting,thanks for sharing this info,sadly there are no labels in any of it,hence the difficulties in ID'ing this kit.

Canada only ever used CADPAT and limited use of reverse DPM and has never issued PLCE.
Australia has followed US webbing designs since 1962 and use AUSCAM.
Holland uses UK DPM pattern & US 3 colour desert pattern.
When the US developed 3 colour at the end of 1st Gulf War they gave 6 colour to Kuwait as part of their re-equiping.
Irag received 6 colour Uniforms as part of their re-equiping.
