Interesting they are using Velcro backed plastic for patches like these. I would think they would be just so stiff and unbending they would get in the way. Of course the pictures look much better on a plastic back then when printed. I have noticed a lot of commanders have their pictures all over everything; might be some ego at work there. I just about choked at the irony of Muqtada Al Sadr wearing camouflage battle dress with the dove in the background!
Also very funny that these fundamentalist sects seem to have forgotten about the taboo of husing human imagery in artwork! They do seem to be learning about the marketing concept of "branding" however!
