    This shell was brought back by a Soldier in the 5th Special Forces Group during Desert Storm. The bottom is rusted and pitted so I could not find any numbers or markings. I was thinking this is either from a T54/55, a Chinese variant, or an old M48 tank.

    I know members of 5th SF Grp worked with the Saudi Army so it might be from one of their tanks. Since it is a bring back I'm assuming it would be an enemy round.

    Can anyone help confirm the ID of this shell? Tom

    What is on the bottom? Maybe you can take the dimensions of the round and then go to some ordinance webpages!
