Very nice knife, well done! This is a Hartsook knife, handmade by Doug Hartsook of Kernersville, NC. Mr. Hartsook is a retired SF man who has been making handmade combat/fighting knives for more than 20 years. As you suspected his high quality knives are popular in the SOF community.
