    Jeez...now THATS a keeper. I hope the soldier never parts with that helmet.

    I have been quite impressed with the ballistic properties of the ACH..much better than the IIA PASGT

    Here's one of my former soldiers and his luck. This was a couple years after he had been with me, and not as catastrophic damage to the brain bucket, but still....

    Good on the helmet for that one, that's for sure! It's interesting how far battlefield technology has come just since this conflict began.

    I find it amazing how some battlefield incidents that lead to damaged equipment like this, which would've resulted in death only as recently as the beginning of the war in 2001, have become "treat & release" maladies in 2010!
