El Salvador had Infantry and Special operations troops in Iraq since Augustus 2003 attached to 1st Warsaw Division (Poland), as part of Multi-National Division (Central/South). They were 360 in early OIF and up to 380 later, stationned in the city of Kut. In five years of deployment, five salvadoran soldiers were killed and 20 wounded. They withdrawn the country in January 2009.

That has to be like 2005, because those guys have the OD green insignia..I actually just bought a Specialists rank on velcro that looks identical to the one in the picture

I was pretty much just commenting on how he was leaning kinda funky on the Pushbar of that HMMWV

I think the american soldier and the el-salvador soldiers named Lopez in the midel of picture are real brother !
