Vettius64: Master of Time stopping

I don't know if some of you guys are familiar with the work of Vettius64, just in case I want to post the link to his website.
Vettius/Luca is an Italian master modeler that has an amazing talent for realism in the 1/6 scale. He's also a fellow member of mine on the Wehrmacht Awards Forum.
He does all kinds of dioramas, from ancient times to modern era. His works have been purchased by museums and some of them are displayed here in the US in museums and private collections. He also does work on commission. I'm currently saving up for one of his master piece.

I am not a modeler but I can appreciate quality work like this man does. Some very stunning examples and I can see why he is well thought of. Thanks!

I tried to get into modeling and just never really "got" it... I'd always smudge the paint, or chip a piece of the material off just a bit too much, or some other disaster.

Then there's masterpieces like this. I could never do anything of this magnitude, but I will admire and respect the work of those who can!

I'll stick to collecting uniforms.
